About You

In our experience the discipline of IT is handled very differently in almost every organisation that we come across.  Every business is a unique combination of factors; including business-stage, people, skills, structures, processes, market place, products and so forth.  Our view is that one-size does not fit all, and that what's right for you, isn't the same for someone else.  Each business therefore goes about making effective decisions around IT in a manner which fits within these constraints.  Our view is that there are a number of key aspects to success in IT.

Your Role

  • Responsible, either directly or indirectly, for the efficient running and   optimisation of your company's IT investments
  • Involved in project and/or programme management
  • Responsible for all or part of the operational side of your company's IT systems and future planning
  • A business analyst or relationship manager
  • Involved in the procurement/supply chain
  • In charge of the financial purse strings

Your Challenges

You may be looking for help, advice and inspiration on how to get the best from your investments in IT.  This could be related to a specific challenge, or simply be part of your planning process to improve, enhance and optimise what you have already.  It could be that your requirements are not technically oriented at all but focus more on the business impact of decisions already made and those yet to be agreed.  You may simply need help in creating robust and tangible IT strategies to support your IT needs today and into the future.

Whatever the reason, you are looking for ways to reduce the amount of problems you have in the operational world while maintaining a balance within the rest of the organisation -  IT decisions can have an impact on a number of non-IT related areas such as culture, communication and efficiency.

Perhaps you are aiming to shift the balance of time and effort spent fixing things towards being more strategic and proactive for the business, influencing the wider business plan through credible IT strategy and delivery.  It may be that much of the plan is there, but the finer detail and plan of execution has not been defined.

Many IT heads are frustrated by the relentless push in technology, bombarded by solution providers and vendors, without an independent and objective view on what the business really needs. Imagine being able to evaluate opportunities beyond technical risk and operational cost, drawing upon the experience of a trusted partner, and the global and pan-European clients they work with.

Moreover, you probably already have excellent skills in-house - staff who simply need extra resource, a little coaching or some new direction on how to maximise the systems they have.  Leveraging existing resources is often high on the agenda, with a view to improving both individuals and the teams around them, providing knowledge and skills that can be utilised today and throughout their careers.

“I have worked with C&C Technology for many years now and they have recently been involved in a major project for Hitachi Capital to design and develop a new e-Commerce solution for our Consumer Finance business. As usual, the consultants were professional, knowledgeable, flexible and supportive. As I don’t have a dedicated internal design team it is very useful to be able to call upon the skills and expertise of a wide range of technical skills to enhance our internal IT capability. I continue to see C&C as a key partner in future IT initiatives across the Hitachi Capital group”
